Nikko Style Niseko HANAZONO, which opened its doors on December 15, 2024, has been bestowed with the prestigious title of “World’s Best New Ski Hotel” at the World Ski Awards 2025, announced in London. This award, often referred to as the “Oscars of the ski tourism industry,” acknowledged the Japanese property after a six-month voting period involving industry professionals and travelers worldwide.
The ski-in, ski-out hotel is nestled in Niseko, Hokkaido, one of Japan’s prime ski destinations famed for its world-class powder snow. The property boasts of 234 elegantly furnished rooms, inclusive of 12 Studio Suites. The guest rooms on the upper floors are equipped with private natural hot spring baths. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Hanazono Symphony gondola, part of the Niseko United ski area at the base of Mt. Annupuri.
