JetBlue Unveils Its Inaugural Airport Lounge ‘BlueHouse’ at JFK
JetBlue Airways has recently launched its inaugural airport lounge, aptly named “BlueHouse”. The lounge officially opened its doors on December 18 at 5 a.m. ET in Terminal 5 at New York’s JFK International Airport. This 9,000-square-foot, two-story space is a significant milestone in JetBlue’s premium strategy. It’s designed to exude the ambiance of a New York City apartment, setting it apart from a traditional airline lounge.
The lounge boasts of Art Deco design elements, curated local art, and partnerships with renowned NYC brands. These include Joe Coffee, The Greats of Craft, and Please Don’t Tell for beverages.
Food offerings at the BlueHouse are a nod to New York classics. Guests can enjoy bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches for breakfast and savor pastrami on rye later in the day. All meals are expertly prepared by Union Square Events.
BlueHouse can accommodate up to 150 guests. It is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, ample power outlets, a game room, and both social and quiet areas.
Access to the lounge is primarily reserved for Mosaic 4 elite members, JetBlue Premier cardholders, and transatlantic Mint business-class passengers, who can bring one complimentary guest. Additional guests can join for $39 per person. Limited access passes will be available for purchase starting February 2026.
JetBlue has plans to open a second BlueHouse location at Boston Logan Airport in 2026. This marks the airline’s broader push into premium travel experiences.
