CAE Initiates Global 8000 Pilot Training Program in Montreal
CAE Inc., Bombardier’s Authorized Training Provider, has commenced the inaugural training of pilots for the new Global 8000 ultra-long-range business jet at its Montreal training center. This significant milestone, achieved in December, precedes the aircraft’s official entry into service. CAE is tasked with delivering comprehensive pilot and maintenance training programs for operators of the world’s longest-range business aircraft.
The Global 8000 stands out with its exceptional specifications, holding the title as the fastest business jet on the market and boasting the lowest cabin altitude of any civil aircraft. The aircraft’s capabilities include traveling 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90.
CAE’s training program integrates:
- Next-generation simulator technology
- Advanced courseware
- Expert instruction
All of these elements have been specifically developed in collaboration with Bombardier.
As the Global 8000 fleet expands, the training program will also extend to additional CAE locations. Maintenance courses will be available across CAE’s global network.
