Piper Aircraft Sets 20-Year Record with 291 Deliveries in 2024
Piper Aircraft concluded 2024 on a high note, delivering a record-breaking 291 aircraft. This represents a significant 20% increase compared to 2023, marking a 20-year record for the esteemed manufacturer. The impressive performance was largely fueled by the introduction of the new M700 Fury turboprop, which accounted for 46 deliveries in its debut year.
The M700 Fury, which received certification in March 2024, boasts a maximum cruise speed of 301 knots. It comes standard with the advanced HALO Safety System, which includes the cutting-edge Garmin Emergency Autoland technology. The aircraft is powered by the robust Pratt & Whitney PT6A-52 700 SHP engine, offering a maximum range of 1,852 nautical miles.
“Our trainer and M-Class markets continue to show strength, and we are extremely satisfied with our delivery performance this year,” stated Ron Gunnarson, VP of Marketing, Sales & Customer Support at Piper Aircraft. He further added that international validations and certifications are anticipated to drive future delivery numbers even higher.
