Emirates Invests $3.4B in Additional A350s at Dubai Airshow
Emirates has placed an order for eight additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, valued at US$3.4 billion, at the Dubai Airshow 2025. This order expands its total A350 fleet commitment to 73 units.
The latest order elevates Emirates’ total new aircraft investments at the airshow to an impressive US$41.4 billion. This follows an earlier order for 65 Boeing 777-9s.
The new A350s, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines, are scheduled for delivery in 2031. These additions will support the airline’s long-term network growth strategy.
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates, highlighted the benefits of the A350’s entry into service. He noted that it has provided welcome additional capacity and enabled the introduction of popular Premium Economy seats to more customers.
