Samsung and Nota AI Join Forces to Boost Exynos 2500 Chip

Seoul-based Nota AI has announced an exciting collaboration with Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Business. The partnership aims to optimize AI models for Samsung’s latest Exynos 2500 application processor.

The collaboration integrates Nota AI’s advanced compression technology into Samsung’s Exynos AI Studio toolchain. This integration enables powerful generative AI experiences directly on smartphones, eliminating the need for cloud connectivity.

The focus of the collaboration is on-device AI capabilities. This allows smartphones to run complex AI tasks locally, thereby preserving battery life and reducing latency.

Chulmin Jo, Vice President of Mobile AP S/W Development at Samsung Electronics, highlighted that “the integration has enhanced the efficiency of on-device AI model development compared to previous generations.”

This technological advancement positions Samsung to compete more effectively with Qualcomm and MediaTek in the AI-powered smartphone market.

The announcement caused Nota AI’s shares to surge 21 percent. This reflects investor confidence in the potential impact of the partnership on the mobile AI landscape.
