Emirates Announces $3.4B Airbus A350 Aircraft Order at Dubai Airshow

Emirates, recognized as the world’s largest international airline, has unveiled a significant fleet expansion. The announcement was made at the Dubai Airshow 2025, where they confirmed an order for 8 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This deal, which is valued at US$3.4 billion at list prices, will augment Emirates’ A350-900 fleet to 73 units by 2031, once all deliveries are finalized.

The newly ordered aircraft will be equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB84 engines, symbolizing Emirates’ ongoing investment in cutting-edge, fuel-efficient aircraft technology. As of now, Emirates has taken delivery of 13 A350 aircraft. The forthcoming planes are projected to bolster the airline’s global connectivity and operational efficiency.
