NVIDIA Shatters Records with $35.1B Revenue, Surpassing Forecasts
NVIDIA has unveiled its remarkable third-quarter fiscal results for 2025, boasting a record-breaking revenue of $35.1 billion. This figure represents a 17% increase from the previous quarter and an astounding 94% growth year-over-year.
The chipmaker’s data center business was the powerhouse behind this exceptional performance, generating $30.8 billion in revenue. This is a staggering 112% increase from the same quarter in the previous year.
Net income also saw a significant rise, reaching $19.3 billion, or 78 cents per share. This is a considerable leap compared to the $9.24 billion reported in the year-ago period.
The company’s gross margin also saw improvement, reaching 73.5%. This is slightly above what analysts had predicted, a success driven by robust data center chip sales.
CEO Jensen Huang made a noteworthy announcement that the next-generation Blackwell AI chip is now in “full production”. An impressive 13,000 samples have already been shipped to major customers. These include industry giants like Microsoft, Oracle, and OpenAI.
Looking to the future, NVIDIA anticipates a fourth-quarter revenue of $37.5 billion, with a margin of plus or minus 2%. This projection comes as demand for AI infrastructure continues to surge.
The company’s dominance in the AI chip market has propelled it to become the world’s most valuable publicly traded company. Its shares nearly tripled in value in 2024 alone.
