Introducing the Luxurious Cheval Blanc Seychelles Resort by LVMH

LVMH has proudly unveiled its latest masterpiece, the ultra-luxury Cheval Blanc Seychelles, marking its sixth Cheval Blanc property. This exquisite resort, which officially opened its doors on December 1, 2024, is nestled on the untouched Anse Intendance beach on Mahé Island. This grand opening signifies the brand’s exciting debut in Africa and a total transformation of the former Banyan Tree Seychelles property.

The resort is a haven of 52 expansive villas, each spanning from 220 to 620 square meters. Every villa boasts a private 12.5-meter swimming pool and offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. The property, a brainchild of the acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Gathy, beautifully blends Creole traditions with modern luxury elements. It also showcases artistic installations by Joël Andrianomearisoa and Prune Nourry.

The culinary journey at the resort is anchored by five unique dining venues. These include:

  • Mizumi, offering a taste of Asian cuisine
  • Vivamento, an Italian poolside dining experience
  • Sula, a Mediterranean beach club
  • The signature Le 1947, a spin-off of the three Michelin-starred restaurant at Cheval Blanc Courchevel

Additionally, the property features a Spa Cheval Blanc offering Guerlain treatments, tennis and padel courts, a surf simulator, and an impressive 1,800 square-meter children’s club named Le Carrousel.

With room rates starting at under $1,400 per night before taxes, the resort positions itself as a premium yet competitive luxury option in the Seychelles market. The Cheval Blanc Seychelles joins the esteemed Cheval Blanc portfolio, alongside properties in Paris, Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, St. Barts, and the Maldives.
