World Travel Awards 2025: Europe’s Finest Celebrated at Sardinia Gala
The travel industry’s most prestigious honors were unveiled this week at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony 2025. This star-studded event was held at the luxurious Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy, celebrating excellence across Europe’s tourism sector on October 22-23, 2025.
Lufthansa was crowned Europe’s Leading Airline, while Zurich Airport received the award for Europe’s Leading Airport. Swiss International Air Lines earned double honors as Europe’s Leading Airline for both Business Class and First Class categories. Portugal was named Europe’s Leading Destination, with Madeira taking the title for Leading Island Destination.
