Swiss A350 Debuts with Groundbreaking ‘SWISS Senses’ Cabin Experience

SWISS etched its name in aviation history today, as its inaugural Airbus A350-900, christened ‘Lausanne’, embarked on its maiden voyage with 233 passengers onboard. The flight, LX2152, took off from Zurich, charting its course towards Palma de Mallorca.

The ‘Lausanne’ is the first to showcase the airline’s revolutionary ‘SWISS Senses’ long-haul cabin experience, signifying a new epoch in premium air travel comfort. The A350’s state-of-the-art materials facilitate lower cabin pressure and heightened humidity levels, significantly amplifying passenger comfort during the flight.

Between now and 2031, nine more Airbus A350s will be added to the SWISS fleet. Initially, these aircraft will be deployed on European routes, serving as a platform for pilot training before transitioning to long-haul services.

This launch underscores SWISS’s commitment to fleet modernization, embracing the most advanced aircraft technology available.
