Garmin is excited to announce the launch of its newest aviator smartwatches, the D2 Air X15 and D2 Mach 2. These state-of-the-art devices boast advanced aviation capabilities and vibrant AMOLED touchscreen displays.
D2 Air X15
The D2 Air X15, retailing at $649.99, offers:
- Up to 10 days of battery life
- Built-in LED flashlight
- PlaneSync compatibility for remote aircraft monitoring
D2 Mach 2
The premium D2 Mach 2 is available in 47mm ($1,349.99) and 51mm ($1,499.99) versions. It provides:
- Up to 26 days of battery life
- The “most advanced aviation maps on any Garmin aviator watch to date” with detailed terrain shading and airspace boundaries
Both models support voice commands for aviation-specific functions like “Start Fly activity” and “Show me the METAR.” They can also connect with compatible avionics through the Garmin Pilot app to display flight data directly on the wrist.
