The luxury hospitality sector is gearing up for a significant expansion. Several prestigious hotel brands are announcing major new openings in coveted destinations worldwide.
The Ritz-Carlton
The Ritz-Carlton has unveiled plans for The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, Punta Nizuc, set to welcome guests in 2027. This property will feature 131 luxury hotel keys and 126 branded residences. Nestled on an exclusive peninsula with a private shoreline, it promises to set new design standards in the region as a LEED certified building.
Four Seasons
Meanwhile, Four Seasons is gearing up to open Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, Greece in the summer of 2025. The resort will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas, and suites, all boasting stunning Aegean Sea views. The property features authentic Cycladic architecture with white cubic buildings and traditional courtyards, all designed by renowned Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis.
Six Senses
Six Senses has signed management agreements for two new Italian properties: Six Senses Milan in the artistic Brera quarter and Six Senses Lake Como in the historic Cadenabbia di Griante area. These new additions continue the brand’s expansion following their successful Rome debut in 2023.
