ITB Asia 2025 Shatters Previous Records with 18,000 Travel Industry Participants
ITB Asia 2025, the premier trade show for the travel industry in the Asia-Pacific region, wrapped up on October 17, 2025, at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, marking an unprecedented level of success. The event, which spanned three days, saw an impressive turnout of 18,000 attendees and over 1,500 qualified buyers, resulting in a 35% year-on-year increase in business meetings.
The exhibition saw a robust representation from Central Asia, coupled with the largest-ever presence from Africa, signifying a historic move towards enhanced intercontinental tourism collaboration. Over 60,000 business appointments were conducted, further cementing ITB Asia’s standing as the most influential travel trade show in the region.
One of the major highlights of the event was the announcement of a strategic partnership with Tripadvisor to create an “Experience Pavilion” set to debut in 2026. This pavilion will be dedicated to showcasing immersive travel experiences, a sector where Tripadvisor reported a 15% year-on-year growth. In addition, the Singapore Tourism Board extended its partnership with ITB Asia through 2028, underscoring the event’s pivotal role in promoting sustainable tourism and digital innovation across Asia-Pacific markets.
