OpenAI has unveiled Sora 2, its most sophisticated video generation model, in conjunction with a groundbreaking social media app that directly rivals TikTok with entirely AI-generated content. The new iPhone app showcases a familiar vertical video feed, but with a significant twist: every 10-second clip is produced using artificial intelligence, not user uploads.
The app’s standout feature, ‘Cameos’, enables users to incorporate their verified likeness into any AI-generated scene following a one-time recording session.
