BeautyHealth Appoints Pedro Malha as CEO, Succeeding Marla Beck
The Beauty Health Company (NASDAQ: SKIN), the parent company of the renowned Hydrafacial brand, has announced the appointment of Pedro Malha as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective from October 1, 2025. Malha takes the reins from Marla Beck, who has led the company through a significant period of transformation.
Malha brings with him over two decades of experience in the healthcare and medical devices sector. His most recent role was as the Worldwide Division President and Corporate Officer at Abbott Laboratories, where he spearheaded the neuromodulation business. His illustrious career includes senior leadership roles at Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Abbott, and Johnson & Johnson in Europe.
“Pedro is an accomplished leader with broad industry experience at leading multinational companies in the healthcare and medical device sectors,” stated Brent Saunders, Chairman of the Board.
The leadership change comes at a time when BeautyHealth reported $78.2 million in net sales for the second quarter of 2025. Beck, who is best known for founding the luxury beauty retailer Bluemercury, will continue to serve in an advisory role.
Under Beck’s leadership, BeautyHealth bolstered its innovation pipeline and upheld Hydrafacial’s position as a leading performance skin health brand, with over 35,000 active devices worldwide.
