Q3 Reports: Aircraft Leasing Titans Soar High Despite Hurdles

Major players in the aircraft leasing industry have unveiled impressive results for the third quarter. Among them, BOC Aviation boasts a total portfolio of 812 aircraft and engines, all with an average age of a mere 5.0 years. This Singapore-based firm successfully executed 34 transactions in Q3 2025, which included the delivery of 11 aircraft and sales of 10 owned aircraft.

On the other hand, Avolon acquired 17 aircraft and sold 15 during the same period, concluding with an agreement for the sale of 60 aircraft. This Dublin-based company also managed to secure substantial financing, raising a whopping US$2.2 billion in unsecured funding. Furthermore, it placed an order for 90 new aircraft from Airbus, which includes 75 A321neo and 15 A330neo aircraft set for delivery through 2033.

Such robust performance is a testament to the ongoing high demand for modern, fuel-efficient aircraft as airlines worldwide strive to modernize their fleets. CDB Aviation also joined the fray, delivering new A320neo family aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines. The company’s CEO, Jie Chen, expressed confidence in supporting AZAL’s sustainable growth strategy.
