Anthropic Secures Monumental Enterprise Agreement with Deloitte’s Global Workforce of 470K

Anthropic unveiled its most significant enterprise deployment to date this Monday. The consulting behemoth, Deloitte, has decided to implement the Claude AI assistant across its workforce. This move will impact over 470,000 employees spanning 150 countries. This extended collaboration is an evolution of a partnership that took root in 2024. It marks a pivotal achievement for the AI startup, which is backed by Amazon.

In the spirit of this collaboration, Deloitte is set to establish a Claude Center of Excellence. This center will house trained specialists and will also introduce a formal certification program. The aim is to train 15,000 professionals on Claude. Furthermore, the companies will jointly create AI solutions. These solutions, equipped with compliance features, will cater specifically to regulated industries. The target industries include financial services, healthcare, and public services.

“Deloitte opted for Claude as they required a trusted AI. This AI would assist their employees and clients across various industries on a global scale,” stated Paul Smith, Anthropic’s Chief Commercial Officer. This deployment is a strategic move for Anthropic. It comes at a time when the company is vying with OpenAI and Google for enterprise customers. This follows closely on the heels of the company’s recent funding round. The round raised $13 billion, valuing the company at a staggering $183 billion.
