Revolutionary Tesla Cybercab Unveiled at ‘We, Robot’ Event

Elon Musk’s Tesla has taken the wraps off its game-changing Cybercab at the spectacular ‘We, Robot’ event in Los Angeles. This fully autonomous two-seater vehicle, priced at a mere $30,000, is set to redefine urban transportation.

The groundbreaking Cybercab, devoid of a steering wheel, operates on inductive charging and boasts an impressive 300-mile range. It’s not just the technology that’s revolutionary, but also the economics. Powered by Tesla’s advanced Dojo 3 superclusters, the Cybercab aims to deliver rides at a mere $0.20 per mile. This represents a staggering 80% cost reduction compared to traditional rideshare services like Uber.

Tesla has ambitious plans for the Cybercab, with production set to begin in 2026 at its Giga Texas facility. The target? A whopping 2 million units annually.

The vehicle integrates Tesla’s Full Self-Driving v14 technology, which has already been deployed over-the-air to half a million vehicles and achieved 99.9% reliability in urban tests. The system incorporates xAI’s Grok for enhanced decision-making capabilities. However, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has delayed approval pending investigations into 15 fatal incidents involving autonomous vehicles.
