New Direct Route from Istanbul to Seville Launched by Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines has recently launched its daily direct flights between Istanbul and Istanbul. This marks the airline’s sixth destination in Spain, thereby expanding its connectivity to Andalusia. The service, which commenced on September 17, 2025, operates daily with a Boeing 737-8 aircraft.
The flight duration is approximately 4 hours 50 minutes from Istanbul and 4 hours 30 minutes from Seville. This new route not only strengthens the relations between Turkey and Spain but also enhances access to Seville’s rich cultural heritage. Some of the iconic landmarks include the Alcázar Palace, Seville Cathedral, and Plaza de España.
Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of Turkish Airlines, emphasized the potential benefits of these flights. He stated, “This will bring new opportunities for both tourism and business, fostering trade and tourism capacity across the region.”
To celebrate the launch, Turkish Airlines is offering special fares. These start at $180 from Istanbul to Seville and €148 from Seville to Istanbul. However, these promotional fares are only valid for bookings made by September 30, 2025, and for travel until March 15, 2026.
This expansion is in line with Turkish Airlines’ ambitious growth plans. The airline aims to reach a fleet size of over 800 aircraft by 2033.
