Kim Kardashian Ends SKKN Beauty Venture After Three Years

Reality star and business mogul, Kim Kardashian, has officially pulled the plug on her skincare and makeup brand, SKKN by Kim. After just three years in operation, this marks the conclusion of another celebrity beauty enterprise.

The company announced on its website that operations would cease and officially close on June 29, 2025. The farewell message to customers read, “With deep gratitude, we share that SKKN BY KIM will be winding down operations.”

Despite Kardashian’s ambitious vision of creating a comprehensive beauty brand, SKKN faced challenges from the outset due to its luxury price point. The nine-step skincare routine, priced over $600, alienated many fans and never matched the cultural impact of her $4 billion shapewear brand, Skims.

Earlier this year, Skims absorbed both Kardashian’s majority stake and Coty’s 20% share in SKKN. Industry insiders hint at a possible Skims Beauty launch in 2026. Coty, which had invested over $200 million in the brand, reported a loss of $71.1 million last year.
