Major Travel Disruptions Across Europe Due to Coordinated Aviation Strikes
Significant disruptions are being faced by European airports as aviation workers from Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal continue their coordinated strike actions. On September 26, 2025, a united front was formed by baggage handling staff, ground crew, and Volotea airline employees. They staged coordinated protests across various Italian airports, including Rome Fiumicino, Venice Marco Polo, and Naples International.
