Royal Caribbean Prolongs Haiti Port Suspension Until April 2026
Royal Caribbean International has made the decision to further extend the cancellation of visits to its private destination, Labadee in Haiti, until April 2026. This decision has been made in light of ongoing security concerns, primarily escalating gang violence in Haiti, compelling the cruise line to steer clear of this popular private beach destination.
The suspension affects major vessels such as the Oasis of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, and Adventure of the Seas. In lieu of the cancelled Haiti visits, Royal Caribbean has arranged for alternative destinations. These include:
- Cozumel, Mexico
- Nassau, Bahamas
- Other Caribbean ports
This is the fourth round of cancellations since April 2025, marking a significant shift in Royal Caribbean’s itinerary.
