The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has proudly announced its 2025 Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 award recipients. This prestigious recognition celebrates the up-and-coming leaders who are spearheading innovation throughout the industry.

Chosen from a staggering 702 nominations, this year’s honorees represent eight leadership categories. These include business management, maintenance, airport operations, and piloting. Now in its eighth year, the award program shines a spotlight on young professionals who are shaping the future of business aviation through their innovative approaches, leadership skills, and commitment to community service.

“NBAA is proud to welcome the newest class of Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “This year’s honorees bring a wide range of experience and skills, showcasing leadership across numerous sectors within business aviation.”

Among the recipients are Kelly Pryor, Vice President of People and Culture at Thrive Aviation, and Joseph Michael Toomey, Director of Training at Clay Lacy Aviation. Notably, Toomey is also leading the charge in transitioning military veterans into civilian aviation careers.

The honorees will be officially recognized at the 2025 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, scheduled for October 14-16.

The significant increase in nominations, from 550 in 2023 to over 700 this year, reflects the growing recognition of young talent in the business aviation sector.
