Introducing Bali’s New Digital Declaration Card for Global Travelers

Starting from September 1, 2025, all international travelers to Bali will be required to complete the new All Indonesia Declaration Card prior to their arrival. This initiative aims to streamline health, customs, and travel declarations into a single, efficient digital process.

The online system generates a QR code that travelers must present upon landing. This innovative approach is designed to reduce airport wait times and enhance overall efficiency.

This requirement is in line with Bali’s e-Visa system and a mandatory tourist levy of 150,000 IDR (approximately $14). The revenue from this levy is allocated towards environmental preservation, cultural site maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.

  • Digital Declaration System: Currently operational at Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya airports.
  • Expansion: The system is set to expand to all Indonesian international airports by October 1, 2025.

This marks a significant stride in the modernization of the country’s tourism infrastructure.
