Blackstone Secures South Korea’s Leading Beauty Chain Juno in a $590M Deal

Blackstone, the US private equity titan, has successfully acquired Juno Hair, South Korea’s top premium hair salon chain. The deal, announced on September 2, 2025, is valued at an estimated 800 billion won ($590 million).

Established in 1982, Juno Hair operates more than 180 salons throughout South Korea and has extended its reach internationally to Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The company boasts an annual revenue of 300 billion won, with a 37 billion won EBITDA, and employs over 3,000 stylists and technicians.

Founder and CEO Kang Yun-seon will continue in her leadership role, joining forces with Blackstone to expedite global expansion. This acquisition marks Blackstone’s fourth private equity investment in Korea and is a testament to the burgeoning global demand for Korean beauty services.

Eugene Cook, Head of Korea for Blackstone Private Equity, stated: “We are seeing explosive global demand for Korean beauty services and Juno is at the forefront of that trend.”
