NBC Sets Record by Selling Out Super Bowl LX Ads at $8 Million Per Spot

NBCUniversal has reached an unprecedented milestone by selling out all advertising inventory for Super Bowl LX, which is scheduled for February 8, 2026, more than 150 days before the game. Commercial spots are commanding a record-breaking $8 million for 30 seconds, marking the highest Super Bowl advertising rates in history.

The early sellout reflects extraordinary advertiser demand, with sectors such as consumer packaged goods, entertainment, finance, and alcohol brands leading the charge. NBC Sports advertising executive Peter Lazarus confirmed this marks the earliest Super Bowl sellout in the network’s history, driven by what the company calls “the strongest sports upfront in our company’s history.”

The network expects to generate close to $700 million in total advertising revenue from the broadcast. This is a significant increase from the $519 million NBC earned during its last Super Bowl in 2022. Digital advertising investments have also surged 20% compared to NBC’s previous Super Bowl coverage, highlighting the growing integration of streaming platforms in major sporting events.
