Louis Vuitton Makes a Grand Entry into the Beauty Market with Seoul Pop-Up Launch

Marking a historic milestone, French luxury behemoth Louis Vuitton has officially forayed into the beauty industry with the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The fashion house chose Seoul as the global debut location, inaugurating a three-story pop-up store in the upscale Gangnam District on September 1, 2025.

The collection, under the creative guidance of acclaimed makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath, boasts of:

  • 55 lipstick shades inspired by the Roman numeral value of “LV”
  • 10 tinted lip balms
  • 8 eyeshadow palettes

The products are a unique blend of upcycled waxes sourced from roses, jasmine, and mimosa, combined with nourishing shea butter and hydrating hyaluronic acid.

With the lipsticks priced at an approximate $170 per tube, they are positioned in the ultra-luxury segment. The Seoul pop-up, operational until the official store inauguration, symbolizes Louis Vuitton’s strategic penetration into the rapidly expanding $590 billion global beauty market, projected to materialize by 2030.
