Embraer Celebrates Delivery of 2,000th Business Jet with Praetor 500
Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has reached a significant landmark, celebrating the delivery of its 2,000th business jet. This defining moment in the company’s history was marked with the handover of a Praetor 500 to an undisclosed corporate flight department. The ceremony took place at Embraer’s Executive Jets Global Customer Center in Melbourne, Florida.
The Praetor 500 is renowned as the most technologically advanced business jet in its class. It boasts an impressive intercontinental range of 3,340 nautical miles when carrying four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves. This capability allows for nonstop North America corner-to-corner flights, including routes such as Miami to Seattle or Los Angeles to New York.
“Delivering our 2,000th business jet is more than just a milestone number. It is a powerful reflection of the strength of our product portfolio, our unwavering commitment to our customers, and the dedication of our employees,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. Since 2002, Embraer’s executive aviation business has maintained an average compound growth rate of 14%, with the company delivering one in every three small and midsize cabin jets in 2024.
