Introducing the Pixel 10 Series: Google’s Game-Changer with Qi2 Magnetic Charging

Google has officially unveiled its Pixel 10 smartphone series at the ‘Made by Google’ event in New York. This marks the 10th generation of Pixel devices from the tech giant.

The lineup includes the Pixel 10 ($799), Pixel 10 Pro ($999), and Pixel 10 Pro XL ($1,199). All these models are powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, making them the first Android flagship phones to support Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets.

The Qi2 magnetic charging technology, akin to Apple’s MagSafe, enables users to attach chargers and accessories without the need for cases. Alongside this, Google has introduced a range of ‘Pixelsnap’ accessories, including charging stands and ring holders.

These phones also boast AI-powered capabilities such as “Magic Cue” and “Camera Coach”. “Magic Cue” proactively surfaces relevant information during calls or messages, while “Camera Coach” provides photography assistance.

All models are available for pre-order immediately and will be available in stores from August 28, 2025. The Pixel 10 Pro models come with a complimentary one-year subscription to Google’s AI Pro plan.
