Worldwide Launch of Louis Vuitton’s Pricy Lipstick Collection: La Beauté Louis Vuitton
Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton officially launches its highly anticipated makeup collection, La Beauté Louis Vuitton, today (August 29, 2025) in select stores worldwide and online. The groundbreaking debut collection, created in partnership with renowned makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath as Creative Director, features 55 lipsticks priced at $160 each, 10 lip balms also at $160, and eight eyeshadow palettes at $250.
The collection represents one of the most expensive premium beauty ranges on the market, with each product featuring luxury touches including refillable packaging designed by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic. The lipsticks are infused with shea butter and hyaluronic acid, scented with a custom floral fragrance by house perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, and made with upcycled waxes from rose, jasmine, and mimosa flowers.
McGrath, who has worked backstage at Louis Vuitton fashion shows for over 20 years, stated that the collection aims to “unlock a new level in luxury beauty.” The 55 lipstick shades offer a subtle nod to the Roman numerals LV, with hero shades including 896 Monogram Rouge and 854 Rouge Louis designed to be universally flattering across all skin tones.
