Google’s Star-Studded NYC Event to Showcase Pixel 10 Series Today
Today, August 20, 2025, technology giant Google is set to make a significant impact in the smartphone market with the eagerly awaited launch of its Pixel 10 series. The launch is part of the Made by Google event in New York City, scheduled for 1:00 PM ET. This event is projected to be Google’s most significant hardware announcement of the year, with celebrity appearances by Jimmy Fallon, NBA star Stephen Curry, F1 driver Lando Norris, and the Jonas Brothers.
The Pixel 10 lineup is expected to feature four devices:
- Pixel 10
- Pixel 10 Pro
- Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold
The most notable upgrade is Google’s new Tensor G5 chipset – the company’s first fully in-house design manufactured by TSMC on an advanced 3nm process. This promises significant improvements in both performance and efficiency.
In addition to the phones, Google will also unveil the Pixel Watch 4 and new Pixel Buds 2a. The standard Pixel 10 models will be available for purchase starting August 28, while the foldable and wearables are expected to launch in October. Despite global supply chain pressures, Google is reportedly maintaining consistent pricing with the Pixel 10 starting at $799.
