Wisk and Signature Aviation Join Forces to Propel Autonomous eVTOL Network
Wisk Aero, a Boeing subsidiary that’s at the forefront of developing autonomous electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has recently announced a game-changing partnership with Signature Aviation. This significant collaboration, which was unveiled on August 13, 2025, aims to establish infrastructure for autonomous Advanced Air Mobility operations across Signature Aviation’s global network. This includes key U.S. markets such as Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami.
The partnership has kick-started with an initial project at Signature Aviation’s Ellington Airport facility in Houston. The project’s main focus is on developing vertiport concepts and operational workflows for Wisk’s Generation 6 aircraft. “We are very excited to collaborate with Signature Aviation to pioneer the future of autonomous flight,” expressed Dan Dalton, VP of Global Partnerships at Wisk.
The four-passenger autonomous air taxi, designed for operation under human supervision from ground-based Fleet Operations Centers, has already completed over 1,750 test flights, marking a significant milestone in the journey towards autonomous flight.
