First TRAC20 G7 Training Aircraft Delivered by Cirrus to Flight Schools

Cirrus Aircraft has initiated the delivery of its latest training aircraft, the TRAC20 G7, to flight schools across the country. The priority for the first deliveries has been given to institutions that have signed pre-orders and letters of intent. Among the recipients are Cirrus Aviation in Sarasota, Florida and Sierra Charlie Aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The TRAC20 G7 marks the latest evolution in the TRAC Series product line, which includes the TRAC20, TRAC22, and TRAC22T models. These sophisticated, high-performance aircraft are specifically designed by Cirrus for pilot training applications and are equipped with the company’s signature Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS).

The G7 model introduces key innovations such as the Cirrus Perspective Touch+ by Garmin, making it the first-ever piston aircraft to incorporate dual Garmin Touch Controllers. This system offers larger, high-resolution displays with expanded systems integration for an intuitive flight deck experience. Additional safety features include:

  • Electronic Stability and Protection systems
  • Integrated engine indication and crew alerting systems found on modern airliners

“Supporting flight training programs is exciting, especially during a time when pilots are in high demand,” said Cirrus CEO Zean Nielsen. “The TRAC Series G7 offers students a fantastic opportunity to position themselves for successful aviation careers by training on the most advanced flight deck available.”
