Condor Amplifies Fleet with Four Additional A330neo Aircraft

German airline Condor has made a significant move in its aggressive growth strategy by placing an order for four additional Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. The order, approved by the Supervisory Board this week, is set to expand Condor’s total A330neo fleet to 25 aircraft by 2031.

Currently operating 18 A330neo aircraft with three more expected by the end of 2027, Condor is preparing to exclusively fly its long-haul routes with brand-new aircraft this summer. The additional aircraft will not only maintain the airline’s successful growth trajectory but also open new opportunities in international business.

“By ordering additional long-haul aircraft, we intend to open up new opportunities in international business and continue our successful strategy of growth seen in recent years,” said Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.

The new aircraft come equipped with state-of-the-art Trent 7000 engines from Rolls Royce and have the capability to operate with up to 50 percent sustainable aviation fuels.
