Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Set to Launch on Mac Tomorrow
CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be available on Mac platforms starting July 17, 2025. The game will run on all Apple Silicon Macs (M1 through M4) with 16GB of RAM or more and will be available through various platforms including the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG.com, and Epic Games Store.
The Ultimate Edition includes the base game featuring Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand and the Phantom Liberty expansion starring Idris Elba. The Mac version will take full advantage of Apple’s Metal graphics framework, featuring path tracing, frame generation, MetalFX upscaling, and built-in Spatial Audio with head tracking for AirPods.
CD Projekt Red has optimized the game with custom “For this Mac” graphics presets for each Apple Silicon model and will add Metal 4 features like Frame Interpolation and Denoising in a future update.
