Google’s July 2025 Pixel Update Improves Android Auto and Wi-Fi Stability
Google has unveiled the changelog for its July 2025 Pixel update, highlighting two major enhancements: improved visual performance in Android Auto and increased Wi-Fi connectivity stability.
The update specifically addresses display and graphics issues in Android Auto, aiming to deliver a smoother and more reliable in-car experience. Additionally, it enhances Wi-Fi performance under certain conditions, targeting better stability and connectivity.
The update begins rolling out on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, under software version BP2A.250705.008. This release represents the first patch update for Android 16, with another update scheduled for August ahead of the major QPR1 release, which will introduce the new Material 3 Expressive design overhaul.
Notably, there is no update expected for the Pixel Watch this month, unless Google later identifies critical fixes for Wear OS.
